The Quraysh clan was the greatest and noblest in the holy land of Mecca in Arabia. This clan was especially known in the world.
The greatest great man of this world, Hazrat Muhammad ï·º, was born in this clan. One branch of this clan is called Bani Tayyim. Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddique (RA) was born in this Bani Tayyim. He was born in 573 AD. His real name was Abdullah and his nickname was Abu Bakr. After he embraced Islam, he was given the title of Siddique and Atiq. Which means the believer. He also received the title of Siddique-i-Akbar. His father's name was Uthman ibn Amir and his mother's name was Salma, her kuniyat was Umm al-Khair.
Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddique (RA) was a man of character and personality. The Quraysh used to come to him for advice on all social matters.
He was a very wealthy person in Mecca. He earned a lot of wealth by trading with his father since childhood. He went to trade with the Prophet ï·º in Sham (Syria) as a child. With him, he gained a special reputation in Mecca. Such as truthful speech, good conduct, humility, deceit, compassion, and he was also a scholar, good speaker and poet. Relatives, enemies, and friends used to deposit their wealth with Abu Bakr ï·º.
After Abu Bakr (ï·º) embraced Islam, he spent his life for Islam and as a companion of the Prophet ï·º. Abu Bakr ï·º protected the Prophet ï·º from many attacks at the hands of his enemies. For this, the Prophet ï·º loved Abu Bakr (ï·º) very much. Hazrat Abu Bakr (ï·º) was 2 years, 2 months and 10 days younger than the Prophet ï·º. After converting to Islam, he donated all his wealth and 40,000 gold coins to the service of Islam. Because of this, he had to endure many hardships and hardships. Hazrat Bilal was a slave of a rich man named Umayya. Umayya used to torture him a lot. Because of this, Hazrat Abu Bakr (RA) rescued him from him by paying him a suitable price. When Muhammad (PBUH) performed the Isra and Miraj on the 27th night of Rajab, when he met Allah and returned, he offered the Fajr prayer in the mosque. After the prayer, the Prophet (PBUH) was telling his beloved companions the story of the Isra and Miraj, none of the companions believed him. When this news reached Abu Bakr (RA), Abu Bakr (RA) said, "If the Prophet (PBUH) said this, then he must have spoken the truth, because the Prophet (PBUH) had never told a lie since his childhood." At that time, Abu Bakr (RA) accepted this as true, so the Prophet ï·º gave him the title of Siddiq. He participated in many battles with the Prophet ï·º, such as: the Battle of Tabuk, the Battle of Badr, Uhud, Hudaybiya, the Battle of Sattar, etc
With him, when the Prophet ï·º passed away, the Prophet ï·º Abu Bakr Siddiq (RA) was elected as the first Caliph of Islam. Apart from this, Abu Bakr Siddiq (RA) was the childhood friend of the Prophet ï·º. Because Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddiq (RA) was with the Prophet ï·º in all times of trouble. He lived with the Prophet ï·º. If we read the biography of Abu Bakr (RA), we will know that he loved the Prophet ï·º more than his own life. May Allah Ta'ala grant the Prophet ï·º a better home than his own life, Amen…..!
